Tokyo Vegan Food & Culture Tour – Hidden Gems with a Local
TOUR OVERVIEW:
Sweet, Stylish, and 100% Plant-Based – Tokyo’s Vegan Side Like You’ve Never Seen It
Step off the beaten path and into a Tokyo afternoon full of flavour, tradition, and quiet charm. This isn’t your typical food tour—it’s a curated walk through Tokyo’s plant-based food/dessert scene with meaningful cultural stops along the way. You’ll enjoy one vegan-friendly lunch to start, followed by three unique Japanese-style desserts, all while exploring two stylish neighbourhoods most tourists never reach.
Itinerary
Vegan-friendly lunch at a cozy spot known for fresh, seasonal ingredients (not a traditional meal, but definitely satisfying!)
Step into history with a visit to a beautifully preserved Japanese traditional home, once the residence of a prominent figure. It’s a quiet moment of reflection amidst the buzz of the city.
Three handcrafted Japanese-style desserts, from traditional treats to creative plant-based sweets, enjoyed in local cafes or while strolling.
A walk through fashionable, lesser-known Tokyo neighborhoods, where the streets are full of character, and locals just living life.
Optional add-ons: We may hop into a convenience store or supermarket for a quick peak to see what vegan options you can find. Or we can have some Japanese tea (not included in the tour price).
*The tour starts and ends in the Ebisu or Nakameguro area, and we’ll be exploring these neighborhoods during the tour.
